Any fics out there where Blair and Jim (or any of the MC gang) make use of code phrases, in a call and response fashion, to reassure the other that they are ok (or conversely the use or lack of certain words alerts the recipient to trouble)?

For once it is JIM who is kidnapped and in trouble. Sort of like Cypher except it is Jim that the "Lash" character fixates on. It is either pre-TSBS and Blair is still an observer, or post-TSBS and he doesn't join the force because he still hasn't a gun.  Blast it!  Though for sure I had this one saved.  Gotta be quick to catch my bus.  Story: Jim is killed in explosion in warehouse after going in for hostage negotiation.  No body found.  Carolyn comes in for funeral.  Everyone's concerned for Blair, which irks Carolyn.  Right after funeral, she throws a snit and throws Blair out what is now HER ( Read more... )
